I spent the first 10 years of my career as a university administrator in residence halls. I realized that my favorite role to play in that career was as an informal counselor―so I went back to school to formalize it.

My approach is composed of warmth, empathy, and a sense of humor. I try to illustrate and clarify ideas in compelling ways. I believe therapy should be about change and progress, in whatever way you and I decide to measure it. You should get the right amount of therapy you need, no less and no more―whether that’s a few sessions, or many over a year or more.
